Sustainable products for hands, body and home

Discover our eight pillars of sustainability and learn how we're different

Reusable glass vessels amber for sustainability

Reusable glass vessels

From manufacture to post-consumer, glass is the most sustainable option for personal care packaging.

Glass can be sterilised, refilled, repurposed and recycled over and over again.

Plastic has a limited recycling lifespan and can only be 'downcycled' into products of lesser quality. Globally, only 9% of all plastic is recycled, with the remainder ending up in landfill or oceans where is never degrades.

Plus, plastic manufacture takes 8% of the world's oil and creates 14% of all greenhouse gasses.

All of our formulations are house in reusable glass vessels for true sustainability.

2. sustainable raw materials

Certified organic ingredients

Our products are formulated with certified organic raw materials that have been grown and harvested sustainably.

No chemical fertilisers or pesticides are permitted in the growing of certified organic crops, which ensures the integrity of the crops, the environmental impact of their farming and the long-term sustainability of the land.

Certified organic also safeguards human health as it excludes harmful chemicals from entering the bloodstream by way of absorption through the skin.

3. carbon neutrality

Carbon offset

We offset the carbon related to shipping our products Australia-wide.

This is executed via a carbon credit system whereby the amount of carbon generated from every delivery is calculated, then offset by way of tree planting, habitat building and other environmental restoration.

4. Clean formulation

Vegan and biodegradable

Our formulations are organic, vegan and biodegradable.

Every WØRKS product is free from all synthetics, parabens, sulphates (SLS, SLES, SDS, ALS), dyes, fillers, phthalates, PEGS, detergents, silicones, mineral oils and palm oil.

We formulate with certified organics, botanicals and natural extracts chosen for their skin synergy and proven efficacy.

recycle sustainability is the core of our business

Reuse over recycle

Reuse far outweighs recycling in terms of environmental impact. That's why our glass vessels are designed to be kept and repurposed.

Our refills are housed in reusable glass vessels, not plastic pouches. Plastic refill pouches are counter-productive by nature of their petrochemical makeup. There is no such thing as sustainable plastic.
